About Us

The Fachschaft Amerikanistik is the official student council for American studies at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.

We

• represent students and their interests to lecturers, other faculties and departments in the convent;
• influence and shape university politics through our participation in committees;
• offer guidance and help to all students at the Amerika-Institut;
• meet biweekly to discuss student and institute matters and plan events (open to everyone);
• organize events such as a greet-and-meet at the beginning of the semester or the graduation party.

We are always happy to receive feedback from students and hope to be able to support you while you are studying at LMU.
